Tại sao mùa nóng dễ bị tiêu chảy?

Khí hậu nóng ẩm trong mùa hè tạo điều kiện cho các loại vi khuẩn, virut gây tiêu chảy dễ bùng phát và xâm nhập qua đường thức ăn, đồ uống gây bệnh cho con người. Tiêu chảy do nhiễm khuẩn chủ yếu là do vi khuẩn và độc tố của chúng. Những người mắc các bệnh mạn tính ở đường tiêu hoá như viêm loét dạ dày - tá tràng... cũng dễ bị tiêu chảy hơn người bình thường.

Đây là một dạng bệnh dễ mắc phải, nhưng rất nguy hiểm vì tính lan truyền của nó, nếu người dân còn thiếu kiến thức về bệnh cũng như ý thức kém trong vệ sinh cá nhân và vệ sinh ăn uống thì bệnh tiêu chảy sẽ sớm quay trở lại. Bệnh tả là một bệnh truyền nhiễm làm cho nhiều người cùng mắc phải trong cùng một vùng, một địa phương và cùng một khoảng thời gian nhất định.

Càng tiêu chảy nhiều lần trong ngày thì hiện tượng mất nước và mất chất điện giải ngày càng tăng làm cho bệnh nhân bị trụy tim mạch cấp tính trong một khoảng thời gian ngắn có thể dẫn đến tử vong nếu không cấp cứu kịp thời. Sự nguy hiểm của bệnh tả là nguy kịch và có thể làm cho nhiều người mắc bệnh nếu cùng ăn, uống một loại thực phẩm, nước uống bị nhiễm vi khuẩn tả.

Biện pháp phòng tránh bệnh tiêu chảy cấp

Không ăn các loại thức ăn chưa nấu chín như rau sống, tiết canh, gỏi cá, nem chạo, nem chua, không uống nước lã,.... Tốt nhất nên ăn lúc nào nấu chín lúc đó, không ăn thức ăn đã nấu chín nhưng để thời gian quá lâu mà không được bảo quản cẩn thận vì có thể ruồi, nhặng hoặc gián xâm nhập mang theo mầm bệnh trong đó có vi khuẩn tả.

Nước dùng để rửa thực phẩm không nên dùng nước ao hồ, sông, suối. Dụng cụ dùng để chế biến thực phẩm, dùng trong bữa ăn như bát, đũa, cốc, chén, muôi, thìa... sau khi rửa sạch bằng nước lã cần được nhúng qua nước đang đun sôi. Nếu nơi nào có nguy cơ bệnh tả thì việc làm này càng hết sức cần thiết. Đối với những vùng có nguy cơ dịch bùng phát cần được dự phòng bằng vaccin phòng bệnh tả. Dùng vaccin phòng bệnh tả là một trong những biện pháp hữu hiệu nhất hiện nay, sử dụng đơn giản mà lại rất hiệu quả. Đối với những người làm công tác y tế thì cần phát hiện người lành mang vi khuẩn tả, nếu phát hiện có người mang vi khuẩn tả cần phải điều trị triệt để và xử lý nguồn chất thải thật đúng quy trình.
