Bình sữa trôi nổi vắng bóng, bình thủy tinh lên ngôi

(Dân trí) - Trước khuyến cáo chính thức của Cục An toàn Vệ sinh thực phẩm, Bộ Y tế, các loại bình sữa trôi nổi gần như vắng bóng trên thị trường trong khi bình thủy tinh được ưu tiên lựa chọn. Và đây cũng là khuyến nghị của GS. Nguyễn Công Khẩn, Cục trưởng cục ATVSTP.

Vắng bóng các loại bình trôi nổi

Gần 6 tháng kể từ ngày Liên minh Châu Âu và Cục quản lý ATVSTP, Bộ Y tế (Việt Nam) đưa ra cảnh báo đầu tiên về bình sữa có chứa chất BPA, mới đây cơ quan này ra thông báo không sử dụng bình sữa sản xuất từ nhựa trong (PC- polycarbonat). Sau khi có khuyến cáo chính thức này, PV Dân Trí đã có cuộc khảo sát tại nhiều cửa hàng, siêu thị khác nhau trên địa bàn thành phố Hà Nội.

Tại cửa hàng Thiên đường của bé (Thái Hà, Hà Nội), siêu thị Big C, siêu thị Fivimart (chi nhánh Nguyễn Phong Sắc, Cầu Giấy), Shop Hồng Minh (Thành Công)... những ngày này rất đông các ông bố, bà mẹ đến mua bình sữa mới cho con. Chị Nguyễn Thúy Hằng (Láng Hạ, Đống Đa, HN) cho biết, dịp trước tết, khi có thông tin cảnh báo về loại bình sữa chứa chất BPA, mình đã đi đổi bình mới cho con rồi. Lần này lại có cảnh báo về loại bình sản xuất từ nhựa trong, nên hôm nay mình đổi sang bình thủy tinh cho lành. Theo hiểu biết và kinh nghiệm chọn bình sữa của chị Hằng thì nên chọn những loại đã có thương hiệu và có nhãn phụ tiếng Việt, trên bao bì ghi rõ “Không chứa Bisphenol A, nhựa PC”, nhưng chắc chắn nhất là chuyển sang dùng bình thủy tinh...”.

Nhân viên bán hàng của shop “Thiên đường của bé” cho biết, nhiều khách nắm rõ thông tin về các loại bình hơn cả người bán. Như sáng nay có mấy nhóm khách vào mua cùng lúc thì họ tư vấn lẫn nhau. Các loại bình thủy tinh của Mỹ, Anh bán chạy nhất, sau đó đến bình nhựa đục, các loại bình nhựa trong tuy đảm bảo an toàn, nhưng vẫn bán chậm như Offre speclale. Ngoài ra còn có loại bình sữa Sim Plisse (Mỹ) ghi chú dòng chữ: “loại bỏ tạp chất gây ra chuyển đổi giới tính”. Còn lại hầu hết các bình sữa bằng nhựa khác dùng cho trẻ được nhập khẩu từ nước ngoài nhưng không được ghi chú rõ ràng.

Như vậy loại bình “trôi nổi”, không rõ nguồn gốc đã vắng bóng, thay vào đó là các nhãn hàng có tên tuổi rõ ràng. Tuy nhiên, không phải loại nào cũng có đầy đủ nhãn phụ tiếng Việt, một số loại không có dòng chữ “Không có chất Bisphenol A”.

Trao đổi với phóng viên Dân trí, ông Nguyễn Công Khẩn, Cục trưởng Cục An toàn Vệ sinh Thực phẩm (Bộ Y tế) cho biết, cơ quan chức năng sẽ thu hồi toàn bộ các loại bình không đạt chất lượng trên thị trường, đồng thời phối hợp liên ngành xử lý nghiêm các cơ sở kinh doanh vi phạm. Cũng theo ông Khẩn, thời gian vừa qua TP Hồ Chí Minh đã thu hồi và xử lý nhiều trường hợp vi phạm (kinh doanh loại bình kém chất lượng, không rõ nguồn gốc, xuất xứ,..).

Ông Nguyễn Công Khẩn cũng khẳng định các loại bình nhựa được dùng cho trẻ em được bày bán rộng rãi chủ yếu là hàng nhập khẩu, được kiểm soát rất chặt chẽ và đạt tiêu chuẩn cho phép. Nhưng cũng không loại trừ một số loại bình nhãn mác không rõ ràng. Theo đó, GS. Nguyễn Công Khẩn khuyến cáo, các bà mẹ không nên dùng hàng trôi nổi, không rõ nguồn gốc, không có nhãn phụ tiếng Việt và các ký hiệu an toàn cũng như nên dùng các loại bình có tên tuổi uy tín, bình thủy tinh.

Còn theo TS. Lê Thị Hồng Hảo, Trung tâm Kiểm nghiệm ATVSTP Viện Dinh dưỡng, Bộ Y tế, người dân nên hạn chế dùng đồ (như hộp nhựa, cốc nhựa, thìa nhựa, bát nhựa, bình sữa nhựa trong,…) làm từ polycarbonate (PC) mà nên chọn sử dụng loại nhựa polypropylene (PP). Một vài đặc điểm giúp phân biệt giữa nhựa PP và nhựa PC: Nhựa polycarbonate cứng, nhìn trong suốt (do có chất BPA). Nếu dưới đáy bình có biểu tượng thì sản phẩm đó làm bằng nhựa polycarbonate (PC).

Các sản phẩm làm bằng nhựa polypropylene (PP) nhìn sẽ đục hơn và mềm hơn là nhựa polycarbonate. Bình sữa và các sản phẩm được làm từ nhựa polypropylene sẽ có chữ PP hoặc biểu tượng hình tam giác dưới đáy bình.
