Chú trọng dinh dưỡng, có lợi cho tim

Xu hướng tăng cao tỷ lệ tử vong do bệnh tim mạch, tăng huyết áp ở nước ta là một dấu hiệu đáng báo động. Tỉ lệ này liên quan mật thiết với sự thay đổi thói quen ăn uống từ “ăn no” sang “ăn ngon”.

Bữa ăn hằng ngày của người dân đang có rất nhiều thay đổi những năm gần đây. Nếu như trước kia, khẩu phần ăn hằng ngày tương đối đơn điệu, bữa ăn chủ yếu là cơm và rau, ít thịt cá (mô hình bữa ăn này hiện vẫn còn thấy ở một số vùng nông thôn nghèo, vùng khó khăn hay xảy ra thiên tai hoặc ở những gia đình nghèo cả ở nông thôn và thành thị) thì nay, cơ cấu các chất sinh năng lượng trong khẩu phần đang có thay đổi rất lớn. Các món ăn nhiều chất đạm, mỡ, ít rau … cùng nhiều loại thực phẩm chế biến sẵn tiện lợi cho các bà nội trợ ngày càng được ưa chuộng. Vậy là dù ăn tại gia đình hay ở ngoài, bữa ăn không phải lúc nào cũng được chế biến đúng cách, kéo theo đó là những mặt trái khó lường. Cụ thể, theo một điều tra gần đây, có tới trên 20% số người lớn bị tăng huyết áp. Kèm theo đó, nguy cơ tỉ lệ các bệnh tim mạch tương đương hoặc nhiều hơn bệnh nhiễm trùng đang rất gần, đặc biệt là ở người cao tuổi. Đối với người mắc bệnh tim mạch, tăng cholesterol trong máu đồng nghĩa với nguy cơ đột qụy tim mạch tăng cao.

TS Phạm Mạnh Hùng, Tổng thư ký Hội tim mạch Việt Nam cho biết: “Việc kiểm soát các yếu tố nguy cơ của bệnh lý tim mạch là vô cùng quan trọng trong việc giảm tỷ lệ mắc và tỷ lệ tử vong do bệnh lý tim mạch”.

Kiểm soát không khó!

Một chế độ ăn uống cho một trái tim khỏe cần ít chất béo bão hoà, hạn chế cholesterol, nhiều rau quả, cá tôm. Nhất là cân đối tỉ lệ các chất đạm, béo, tinh bột - đường, vitamin trong mỗi bữa ăn, tuyệt đối không nên loại bỏ chất béo ra khẩu phần ăn hằng ngày. Bởi “Đây là nguồn cung cấp năng lượng quan trọng cho các hoạt động của cơ thể, đồng thời, cũng là một nguồn nguyên liệu quan trọng trong việc tạo hình cơ thể, tham gia vào cấu trúc tế bào và một số quá trình sinh hoá. Ngoài ra, chất béo còn giúp cơ thể hấp thu và sử dụng các loại vitamin quan trọng như vitamin A, D, E, K”, TS Hùng nhấn mạnh.
