Phòng bệnh tiểu đường: Uống 2 thìa giấm trước khi ăn thịt cá

(Dân trí) - Một nghiên cứu của ĐH Bang Arizona (Mỹ) cho thấy uống 2 thìa dấm trước khi ăn các loại thực phẩm có nhiệt lượng cao như thịt cá có thể giảm huyết áp một cách hiệu quả. Nếu không quen uống giấm, có thể thay bằng sa lát có trộn giấm.

Tỉ lệ người mắc bệnh tiểu đường ngày càng tăng cao trên khắp thế giới. Nguyên nhân do đâu? Tạp chí Prevention của Mỹ mách bạn 10 cách dưới đây để có thể tránh xa căn bệnh này.

Giảm 5% trọng lượng cơ thể

Dù bạn có béo và lười luyện tập tới đâu, chỉ cần trọng lượng cơ thể của bạn giảm được 5 %, nguy cơ mắc bệnh tiểu đường sẽ giảm 70%.

Mỗi ngày đi bộ 35 phút

Theo nghiên cứu của Phần Lan, việc đi bộ có thể khiến insulin trong cơ thể đạt được hiệu quả tốt nhất. Mỗi tuần đi bộ 4 tiếng, mỗi ngày 35 phút có thể giảm 80% nguy cơ mắc bệnh tiểu đường.

Chú trọng thực phẩm giàu chất xơ

Các thực phẩm có hàm lượng chất xơ cao có thể bảo đảm bao gồm ít nhất 5g chất xơ thô trong đó. Do đó có thể làm giảm nguy cơ mắc các chứng bệnh như ung thư vú, tiểu đường, huyết áp cao và trúng gió.

Không ăn fast food quá 2 lần/tuần

Theo nghiên cứu của Mỹ. ăn đồ ăn nhanh quá 2 lần/tuần sẽ khiến độ mẫn cảm của các cơ quan trong cơ thể đối với insulin giảm một nửa. Còn ăn thịt nguội hoặc xúc xích quá 5 lần/tuần sẽ làm tăng 43% nguy cơ mắc bệnh tiểu đường.

Tốt nhất nên ăn ít thịt, nhiều rau xanh.

Nhục quế giúp giảm hàm lượng đường trong máu

Các nhà khoa học Đức phát hiện ra nhục quế có tác dụng làm giảm mỡ máu, do đó giúp phòng tránh bệnh tiểu đường. Bạn có thể cho bột nhục quế vào cà phê, hoặc hòa với mật ong uống.

Hít thở sâu 3 lần trước khi làm việc

Áp lực trong thời gian dài cũng có thể dẫn đến lượng đường trong máu tăng cao. Theo các chuyên gia, trước khi làm bất kỳ việc gì, tốt nhất bạn nên hít thở sâu 3 lần để giảm áp lực.

Ngủ 6-8 tiếng mỗi ngày

Đối với những người thường ngủ không đủ 6 tiếng mỗi ngày, nguy cơ mắc bệnh tiểu đường tăng gấp đôi. Những người ngủ quá 8 tiếng mỗi ngày lại có nguy cơ mắc tiểu đường gấp 3 lần.

Không ở 1 mình

Nguy cơ mắc bệnh tiểu đường cao gấp 2,5 lần ở những người sống 1 mình so với những người khác. Theo các chuyên gia, nếu bạn ở một mình, nên duy trì cách thức sinh hoạt có lợi cho sức khoẻ.

Lưu ý sau 45 tuổi

Những người có chỉ số lượng đường trong máu là 100-125mg/dL dễ phát bệnh tiểu đường trong vòng 10 năm. Sau 45 tuổi, những người béo, hoặc gia đình có tiền sử tiểu đường, hay tiền sử cholesterol hoặc huyết áp cao nên quan tâm hơn đến lượng đường trong máu.
