Trẻ bị ho nên kiêng ăn gì?

(Dân trí) - Không ít bậc cha mẹ cảm thấy vô cùng lo lắng khi thấy con mình ho dài ngày không dứt. Thực tế, trong thời gian bé bị ho, chỉ cần chú ý đến các thực phẩm nên kiêng kị dưới đây có thể nhanh chóng giúp bé khỏi bệnh.

Thực phẩm lạnh

Khi trẻ bị ho không nên cho bé ăn đồ lạnh hoặc uống các loại đồ uống đông lạnh. Theo quan niệm Đông y, khi cơ thể bị nhiễm lạnh sẽ gây tổn thương cho phổi, mà ho phần lớn là do các bệnh ở phổi gây ra.

Lúc này nếu ăn uống các thực phẩm lạnh dễ gây ra tắc khí ở phổi, khiến các triệu chứng càng nặng thêm. Đồng thời, các chứng viêm ít nhiều cũng có quan hệ đến tì. Nếu ăn uống quá nhiều thực phẩm lạnh, cũng có thể gây tổn thương tì vị, khiến chức năng tì bị suy giảm.

Thực phẩm béo, ngọt, vị đậm

Theo Đông y, ho phần lớn do phổi bị nhiệt gây ra. Hàng ngày nếu trẻ ăn quá nhiều các thực phẩm béo, ngọt, vị đậm sẽ khiến cơ thể bị bốc hoả, làm triệu chứng ho nặng hơn.

Nhiều bậc cha mẹ cho rằng ăn quýt có thể chữa ho, long đờm. Tuy vỏ quýt có công hiệu trị ho, long đờm, nhưng thịt quýt lại khiến cơ thể sinh nhiệt, sản sinh ra nhiều dịch đờm hơn.

Ngoài ra, cũng không nên cho bé ăn nhiều các thực phẩm chiên rán, bởi các thực phẩm này sẽ tạo thêm gánh nặng cho dạ dày, làm dịch đờm sinh ra nhiều hơn, khiến bệnh ho càng khó chữa khỏi.

Các thực phẩm chứa lượng chất béo cao như lạc, hạt dưa, sôcôla… khiến cơ thể sinh ra nhiều dịch đờm, làm bệnh ho càng nặng thêm.

Cá, tôm, cua

Nếu cho bé ăn các thực phẩm này khi đang bị ho, bệnh sẽ càng nặng hơn. Việc này có liên quan đến tính kích thích của vị tanh với hệ hô hấp và do trẻ bị dị ứng với chất protein trong tôm cá.

Thực phẩm bồi bổ

Không ít bậc phụ huynh cho các bé cơ thể bị suy nhược dùng thực phẩm chức năng có tác dụng bồi bổ. Tuy nhiên khi trẻ bị ho, nên dừng việc sử dụng các thực phẩm này để tránh khiến bệnh ho khó chữa trị hơn.
