Tử uyển, vị thuốc chữa ho, hen

Tử uyển (Aster tataricú L.J), thuộc họ Cúc (Adteraceae), tên khac là thanh uyển, dã ngưu bàng. Bộ phận dùng làm thuốc của tử uyển là rễ, thu hái quanh năm, tốt nhất là vào mùa thu, đào về rửa sạch, để ráo nước rồi chế biến dưới các dạng sau:

Theo Đông y tử uyển có vị đắng, cay, tính ôn, không độc có tác dụng nhuận phế, hóa đờm, chỉ phái, hạ khí, chữa ho có đờm, hen suyễn, viêm họng, viêm phế quản cấp và mạn tính. Liều dùng hàng ngày 6-12g dưới dạng thuốc sắc hoặc hoàn tán. Thường dùng phối hợp với các vị thuốc khác theo những phương thức sau:

- Chữa ho, hen có đờm khò khè: Tử uyển 12g, bách bộ 12g, cát cánh 8g, mạch môn 8g, kinh giới 8g, trần bì 6g, cam thảo dây 6g. Tất cả thái nhỏ, phơi khô, sắc với 400ml nước còn 100ml, uống làm 2 lần trong ngày.

- Chữa ho lâu ngày, viêm phế quản mạn tính: Tử uyển 10g, khoản đông hoa 10g, thổ bối mẫu 10g, hạnh nhân 10g, cát cánh 10g, cam thảo 3g, sắc uống ngày 1 thang.

- Chữa ho gà ở giai đoạn hồi phục: Tử uyển 8g, bách bộ 8g, rễ qua lâu 16g, sa sâm 12g, mạch môn 12g, sắc uống trong ngày.

- Chữa lao phổi: Tử uyển 12g, bạch truật 12g, đảng sâm 12g, cỏ nhọ nồi 12g, thổ phục linh 8g, bách hợp 8g, cam thảo 6g, ngũ vị tử 6g, thổ bối mẫu 6g, sắc uống ngày 1 thang.

- Chữa hen phế quản: Tử uyển 12g, tế tân 12g, khoản đông hoa 12g, đại táo 12g, ma hoàng 10g, ngũ vị tử 10g, bán hạ chế 8g, xạ can 6g, gừng sống 4g, sắc uống trong ngày.

- Chữa suy nhược cơ thể do phế hư: Tử uyển 12g, ngũ vị tử, tang bạch bì, thục địa, đản sâm, hoàng kỳ mỗi vị 10g, sắc uống trong ngày.

Tuệ Tĩnh (Nam dược thần hiệu) còn dùng tử uyển để chữa kinh nguyệt không đều với bài thuốc gồm tử uyển , hồng hoa, nga truật, quế chi (bỏ vỏ thô), hương phụ (sao giấm), lượng bằng nhau, phơi khô tán nhỏ, dây bột mịn. Ngày uống 2 lần mỗi lần 8g với rượu.
