(Dân trí) - Nhiều bà bầu nhầm tưởng rằng ăn kem hoặc uống đồ lạnh là biện pháp giải khát hữu hiệu trong ngày hè oi bức. Mặc dù cơ thể sẽ nhanh chóng được hạ hỏa, nhưng đó chỉ là hiệu quả “giả” và hơn thế, còn gây hại cho sức khỏe.

Thực chất cách làm này không những không có tác dụng gì lại còn gây hại cho chính sức khỏe bà bầu.

Trướng bụng, tiêu chảy, tiêu hóa kém

Khi mang thai, các chức năng của cơ thể thai phụ đều hoạt động yếu hơn bình thường, đặc biệt là chức năng tiêu hóa. Sau khi ăn quá nhiều kem hoặc uống đồ lạnh, các mạch máu ở dạ dày và đường ruột đột nhiên co thắt lại, dịch dạ dày tiết ra ít khiến chức năng tiêu hóa bị giảm đáng kể, gây ra chứng trướng bụng, tiêu chảy.

Dễ bị ho, viêm họng, đau đầu

Khi sức đề kháng của cơ thể đã giảm sút, các loại vi khuẩn, vi-rút ngoài môi trường dễ dàng tấn công trực tiếp lên các cơ quan hô hấp như mũi, cổ họng… Nếu ăn quá nhiều kem, hoặc các đồ lạnh khác sẽ làm các mạch máu bị co thắt đột ngột, huyết dịch giảm, sức đề kháng cục bộ cũng theo đó giảm mạnh, tạo cơ hội cho vi khuẩn, vi-rút trong khoang mũi, khoang miệng, khí quản tấn công, gây ho, đau rát cổ họng, đau đầu….

Ảnh hưởng đến sự phát triển của thai nhi

Ăn uống đồ đá lạnh khiến bụng cảm thấy khó chịu, đau râm ran do đường ruột và dạ dày người mẹ “khó chịu” vì đồ lạnh đột ngột vào cơ thể, , theo đó thai nhi cũng có những phản ứng thất thường.

Nghiên cứu của các nhà khoa học Anh cho thấy, thai nhi trong cơ thể người mẹ rất mẫn cảm với những kích thích về nhiệt độ (quá nóng hoặc quá lạnh). Khi cơ thể mẹ nạp quá nhiều đồ lạnh, thai nhi sẽ có những phản ứng thất thường, hoặc không thể phát triển toàn diện, điều này phải kiêng kị tuyệt đối, nếu không sẽ bị động thai, nặng sẽ dẫn tới sảy thai.
